Interactive PVS supplies valuable information on any telephone number by verifying the current status of that number. The information is based on the SS7 Network (Common Channel Signaling System No.7) used by Telephone Companies throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico for call setup and routing, billing, local number portability, wireless roaming, call forwarding, calling party name and number display as well as three-way and international calling. It is the global standard defined by the International Telecom Union.
