of Address (NCOA) database - as well as DataMAX,
our own proprietary address hygiene service.
Improve your mailing list performance and decrease
mailing costs with address correction and validation
services. Select one or all of our specialized address
services and we promise to zip your database back
to you within 24 hours. Often you will actually
have it back in 2 - 6 hours.
Your address correction service
options include:
DataMAX - more...
PacificEast's proprietary address correction and
cleaning service. Using our three separate pass
technology, we can provide more knowledge about
the quality of your name and address data. All data
will be compared against the USPS®
database and CASSTM certified along with
proprietary tools to insure that you only send mail
to confirmed mail-able addresses.
NCOALink - more...
Compare the contact data in your database or mailing
list against the USPS National Change of Address
(NCOALink ®) database and receive
updated addresses for any person, family or business
that has moved or changed their address listing
within the last four years. NCOALink
also includes CASS, DPVTM and LACSLink
TM.
CASS
The Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS certification) improves the accuracy of carrier route, 5-digit ZIP®, ZIP+4®, and delivery point codes that appear on mail pieces. The program is a quality-control measure that ensures that vendors provide accurate, updated information and services to customers who purchase this information to process their mailing lists. CASS is included in the NCOALink process.
DPV
Delivery Point Validation is a way to assure that
each address in your mailing list matches one of
the 145,000,000+ delivery points (deliverable addresses)
on file with the USPS. Mailer use of DPV, along
with corrective actions, helps to reduce the amount
of undeliverable mail pieces, which in turn results
in more efficient mail processing and delivery operations.
For each address presented, DPV validates one of the following scenarios:
The address has the correct primary and secondary data
The address has the correct primary but not secondary data
The address cannot be validated
DVP is an address validation process, not a address correction process. DPV does
not append any missing data or correct any address
elements. DPV is included in the NCOALink
process .
LACSLink
LACSLink is an address correction service
that provides mailers with an automated method of
obtaining a new address for addresses that have
been converted by local municipalities, usually
when a community has implemented a 911 emergency
system. 911 address conversions normally involve
changing rural-style addresses to city-style addresses,
but in some instances conversion may result in the
renaming or renumbering of existing city-style addresses.
If the standardized address is an exact match to
the old address information, the LACSLink
system provides the 911 conversion address to the
mailer. LACSLink is included in the NCOALink
process.
DSF2 TM
The DSF2 Product identifies whether a ZIP+ 4 coded address is currently represented in the USPS delivery file as a known address record. DSF2 contains the same data as DPV, along with address attributes that tell mailers more information about the address. For example, DSF2 tells mailers if the address is vacant, residential, business or seasonal or if the address is delivered to a curb-side mailbox or by a door-slot. This information allows for more targeted mailings.
